Annealed Wire

As a means of “Softening” the steel, Mount Joy Wire Corporation offers High and Low carbon annealing cycles along with specialized “Longer Soak” cycles. High carbon cycles receive full spheroidized annealing.

Typical products are either “Annealed at Finish” (AAF) or “Annealed in Process (AIP). The AIP material receives a small amount of work hardening after annealing.

Package:

• Basic package is coils - 13”, 16”, 22” but spool or reel packages can be arranged. Also, reel less packaging is available.
